Channel Rehabilitation and Spot Repair
GC Engineering, Inc. (GCE) provided engineering services for the channel rehabilitation from East Circle Drive (HCFCD D140-03-00-X001) to the confluence of Fondren Diversion Channel (D140-00-00) and the spot repairs of HCFCD D140-00-00-X013. GCE prepared construction plans, and bid documents for the proposed system repair work along Channels D140-03-00-X001 and D140-00-00-X013 within the project limits. Work included replacement of failed outfall pipes, construction of new interceptor structures, and channel slope repairs at the locations where failure of slope/erosion were noted.
GCE also reviewed the Project Manual prepared by HCFCD and assisted with the Pre-Bid conference.
